Summary
This study aims to understand how obesity might increase the risk of stomach cancer. Researchers will examine stomach tissue samples from 100 obese patients undergoing weight-loss surgery. They will look for specific immune cells and blood vessel changes that could signal early cancer development. The goal is to gather knowledge, not to test a treatment.
