Military families get new tool to fight baby weight

Summary
This study tests a program called Healthy Family Foundations for military couples expecting their first baby. The program includes 10 online group classes (5 before birth and 5 after) to help parents support each other with healthy eating, activity, and parenting. Researchers want to see if it can prevent rapid weight gain in babies, help mothers avoid retaining too much weight after birth, and keep fathers at a healthy weight. About 825 families will take part.
