New cell therapy trial hopes to halt progressive MS

Summary
This early-stage study tests a new treatment called obe-cel for people with progressive multiple sclerosis (MS) that has not responded to other therapies. The main goal is to see if obe-cel is safe and what side effects it may cause. Eighteen adults will receive a single infusion of obe-cel after a short course of chemotherapy and will be monitored for up to 24 months. The study also looks for early signs that the treatment might slow or stop MS progression.
