First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 34 times

Summary

This study tests a new drug-coated stent (NxiDIME) for people with severely narrowed brain arteries who have already had a stroke or mini-stroke. About 224 participants will be randomly assigned to get either the new stent or a similar approved stent. The main goal is to see if the new stent better prevents the artery from narrowing again within a year.
