New DNA vaccine aims to stop liver cancer recurrence after surgery

Summary
This study tests a DNA vaccine called NWRD06 in 30 adults with a type of liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma) that has been surgically removed. The vaccine targets a protein called GPC3 found on cancer cells, aiming to train the immune system to destroy any remaining cancer and prevent the disease from returning. Participants must be between 18 and 65, have GPC3-positive tumors, and have had surgery within the past 12 weeks. The main goal is to see how many people remain cancer-free 72 weeks after treatment.
