NCT ID NCT07554885
First seen May 17, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at whether adding a mix of nutritional supplements (spirulina, bifidobacterium, fish oil, grape seed, blueberry, and ganoderma spore oil) to standard steroid treatment can help people with severe lung inflammation caused by cancer immunotherapy. About 60 adults with cancer who develop grade 3-4 pneumonitis will be randomly assigned to get either the supplements plus steroids or steroids alone. The main goal is to see if the supplements speed up recovery and improve breathing.
