First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study looked at whether giving head and neck cancer patients a special nutritional drink (Nestle Impact Advanced Recovery) before and after major surgery could lower the chance of wound problems like infections or fluid buildup. Only 4 adults took part, all scheduled for major head and neck cancer surgery. The goal was to see if better nutrition around the time of surgery could improve healing.
