First seen May 17, 2026 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving extra nutrition through a feeding tube before surgery can lower the chance of complications in malnourished people with esophageal or stomach cancer. About 670 participants will be followed to compare those who get nutritional support with those who do not. The goal is to find out if this approach improves recovery after surgery.
