Summary
This study tested whether adding special oral nutrition drinks to standard chemotherapy could help patients with stomach, colon, or other gastrointestinal cancers. Researchers wanted to see if these supplements could improve patients' strength, quality of life, and ability to tolerate their cancer treatment. The study involved 175 adult patients who were undergoing chemotherapy.
