First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tested whether a short, practical nutrition-based mindset intervention could help doctors feel more self-kindness and less burnout. 177 U.S. physicians who work at least 8 hours per week in clinical care participated. Over 6 weeks, researchers compared two approaches to see if framing daily food choices as an act of self-care improved well-being.
