NCT ID NCT07042009
First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looks at whether giving breast milk donors simple nutrition information can increase the amount of omega-3 fatty acids in their milk. These nutrients are important for baby brain development, especially for premature infants. About 60 new donors from a UK milk bank will use a phone app to track their diet and provide milk samples. The goal is to see if the guides are helpful and if they actually raise omega-3 levels.
