New study aims to better spot malnutrition in dialysis patients

Summary
This study looks at how to best identify malnutrition in people with chronic kidney disease who are on hemodialysis. Researchers will test different ways to define malnutrition and see which methods best predict declines in quality of life, muscle strength, and survival. About 69 adults from two dialysis units in Sweden will take part, with data collected from medical records and routine checkups.
