First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looks at how to best identify malnutrition in people with chronic kidney disease who are on hemodialysis. Researchers will test different ways to use the GLIM criteria and other tools to diagnose malnutrition. They will follow 69 patients over time to see which methods best predict declines in quality of life, muscle strength, and survival. The goal is to improve how malnutrition is detected and managed in this vulnerable group.
