Summary
This completed study followed over 1,100 pregnant women in Guangzhou to see how their diet and nutrition during and after pregnancy relate to blood sugar problems like gestational diabetes. Researchers also tracked the children's growth, brain development, and allergies up to age 5. The goal was to understand these links, not to test a new treatment.
