This study followed over 1,100 pregnant women in Guangzhou to see how their diet and nutrition during and after pregnancy related to blood sugar problems and their children's growth, development, and allergies up to age 5. The goal was to understand links between maternal nutrition and long-term health outcomes for both mother and child.
