Can a short nutrition course boost performance for young female athletes?

NCT ID NCT07460102

Summary

This study tested whether a brief nutrition education program could improve sports nutrition knowledge, diet quality, and body composition in teenage female handball players. 97 athletes from four clubs were randomly assigned to either receive three weekly nutrition lessons or continue their usual habits. The goal was to see if learning about energy needs, nutrients, and hydration could lead to better eating habits and potentially support athletic performance.
