Parenting program shows promise for easing ADHD symptoms in young kids

Summary
This study tested a parenting method called the Nurtured Heart Approach (NHA) to help reduce ADHD symptoms like inattention and hyperactivity in children ages 6 to 8. Parents of 104 children with or suspected of ADHD were randomly assigned to use NHA right away or later. The approach focuses on building positive connections and reducing problem behaviors. Results showed improvements in attention and impulse control as reported by parents.
