New nursing program aims to ease heart surgery recovery for patients and families

Summary
This study tests a new nursing program to help heart bypass patients and their caregivers adapt after leaving the hospital. About 40 patient-caregiver pairs will either receive the program or usual care. The goal is to see if the program improves emotional, physical, and social recovery.
