Can your phone and a nurse help you control diabetes?

NCT ID NCT05120544

Summary

This study tested whether using mobile monitoring devices and getting support from a nurse could help people better manage their type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure. 220 adults whose conditions were not well-controlled with standard care participated. They were randomly assigned to either use the monitoring devices on their own or use them while also receiving regular telehealth visits and medication management help from a nurse.
