VA nurses take on heart disease in HIV-positive veterans

Summary

This study tested whether a nurse-led program could help veterans with HIV lower their blood pressure and reduce their risk of heart disease. 305 veterans with HIV and high blood pressure took part. The program used video visits and care coordination to help manage blood pressure over 12 months.
