Can nurse home visits break cycles of poor health for High-Risk families?
NCT ID NCT05887115
Summary
This study tested whether regular nurse home visits during pregnancy and after birth could improve health outcomes for high-risk mothers and their children. It focused on women with previous children who faced challenges like poverty, young age, or lack of education. The trial compared families receiving the Nurse Family Partnership program to those using standard community services, but it was stopped early after enrolling only 23 participants.
