New gel could boost nerve repair after severe hand injuries

Summary
This study tests a product called NTX-001, a gel applied during surgery to repair completely severed nerves in the upper arm or hand. About 98 adults aged 18 to 80 will receive either standard nerve stitching plus the gel or standard stitching alone. The goal is to see if the gel improves hand function and reduces pain over 48 weeks.
