First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tests a product called NTX-001, a gel applied during surgery to repair completely cut nerves in the upper arm or hand. About 98 adults aged 18 to 80 will be randomly assigned to receive either standard nerve-stitching alone or stitching plus the gel. The goal is to see if the gel improves hand function and reduces pain over 24 weeks, while also checking for safety.
