Does faster treatment save more lives after heart attacks?

NCT ID NCT07204847

Summary

This study looked at whether following current medical guidelines for treating a specific type of heart attack (NSTEMI) leads to better patient recovery. Researchers observed 407 patients to see if having a key diagnostic procedure (coronary angiography) within 24 hours of diagnosis resulted in fewer serious health problems, like another heart attack or death, over the next six months. The goal was to gather real-world evidence on how treatment timing affects long-term health.
