New clues found for leg artery disease in guadeloupe
NCT ID NCT07233356
First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looked at 123 adults in Guadeloupe with peripheral arterial disease (PAD), a condition where leg arteries get blocked. Researchers wanted to find new risk factors, especially blood sugar levels (HbA1c), that might explain why blockages often happen lower in the leg. The goal was to better understand the disease, not to test a treatment.
