First seen Mar 08, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study tests two experimental mRNA vaccines (mRNA-1403 and mRNA-1405) designed to prevent norovirus, a highly contagious virus that causes vomiting and diarrhea. Around 1,400 healthy adults aged 18 to 80 will receive either a vaccine or a placebo to check safety and how well the vaccine triggers an immune response. The goal is to find the best dose to protect against this common stomach bug.
