Summary

This study tested a vaccine to protect children aged 6 months to 13 years from norovirus, a common cause of severe vomiting and diarrhea. About 8,000 healthy kids received either the vaccine or a placebo. The goal was to see if the vaccine could prevent moderate to severe stomach infections caused by the two main norovirus strains.
