NCT ID NCT07077265
First seen Mar 31, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study tested whether a lower dose of the medicine norepinephrine works as well as a higher dose to prevent dangerously low blood pressure in elderly patients (over 65) during hip surgery with spinal anesthesia. The trial involved 84 participants and compared two infusion rates. The goal was to see if the lower dose could safely maintain stable blood pressure without causing side effects like high blood pressure or slow heart rate.
