Summary

This study tested whether a daily supplement called nicotinamide riboside (a form of vitamin B3) can slow the progression of early Parkinson's disease. 410 people with early-stage Parkinson's took either the supplement or a placebo for 52 weeks. The main goal was to see if the supplement reduced the worsening of motor and non-motor symptoms.
