Sock study slips up: only one patient enrolled
NCT ID NCT04882696
First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study aimed to see if wearing non-slip socks helps older hospital patients improve their walking speed during physical therapy. The plan was to include people aged 75 and older who needed therapy and had poor footwear. However, only one person joined before the study was ended early, so no meaningful conclusions can be drawn.
