NCT ID NCT00872495
First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study is testing whether analyzing DNA and proteins in urine can help detect urothelial cancers of the bladder and kidney. Researchers will collect urine samples from 500 adults—some with known or suspected cancer and some healthy controls—to see if this non-invasive approach can identify cancer cells and predict how the disease might behave. If successful, it could offer a simpler, less uncomfortable way to diagnose and monitor these cancers.
