First seen Feb 14, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tests a non-invasive device that uses mild electrical stimulation on the upper airway during sleep to help people with obstructive sleep apnea. Fifteen adults with moderate to severe sleep apnea will try the device for 5 months to see if it is safe and comfortable. The goal is to find a new, drug-free way to keep the airway open without a mask or surgery.
