First seen Feb 14, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This early study tests a non-invasive device that uses mild electrical pulses to stimulate nerves in the upper airway during sleep. The goal is to see if people with obstructive sleep apnea can tolerate the stimulation and if it helps keep their airway open. Fifteen adults with moderate to severe sleep apnea will be enrolled for a 5-month pilot trial.
