Summary
This study tests whether measuring jaw movements can accurately assess breathing effort in ICU patients recovering from respiratory failure. Researchers will compare jaw movement signals to the standard invasive method (esophageal pressure) in 50 adults. If successful, this non-invasive approach could make monitoring safer and more comfortable.
