First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study will check if a non-invasive device can accurately detect high brain pressure in 300 adults with traumatic brain injury or stroke in Brazilian emergency rooms. The device uses a sensor on the head to measure pressure and brain stiffness, aiming to replace or reduce the need for CT scans and invasive monitoring. If successful, it could help doctors make faster decisions and lower healthcare costs.
