Could a simple cuff replace invasive heart tests for lung disease patients?

NCT ID NCT05618093

First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study aimed to see if a non-invasive device (ClearSight) can accurately measure how well the heart pumps blood in people with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) or chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH). Researchers planned to compare these readings with standard invasive measurements during right heart catheterization. The study was withdrawn before enrolling any participants, so no results are available.
