New heart mapping tech could spare patients from unnecessary scans

NCT ID NCT07425132

First seen Mar 08, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tests a new, non-invasive mapping system that creates a 3D electrical map of the heart to find abnormal heart rhythm sources in people with congenital heart disease. Researchers will compare this system's accuracy against standard invasive methods in 15 participants. The goal is to see if this approach can reduce the need for radiation and CT/MRI scans while still guiding personalized treatment.
