Summary
This study tested a new electrode-based sensor that sticks on the belly to monitor a baby's heart rate and contractions during labor. The goal was to see if it works better than current monitors, especially for women with obesity. 103 pregnant women participated, and the sensor's readings were compared to standard monitors.
