NCT ID NCT06521840
First seen Mar 23, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tested a new device that checks for anemia (low red blood cells) in pregnant women without needing a blood draw. Anemia is common in pregnancy and can cause problems during delivery if not caught early. The device uses a sensor on the skin to measure hemoglobin levels, and researchers compared its results to standard blood tests in 124 pregnant or postpartum women to see how accurate it is.
