First seen Apr 04, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study is testing whether a camera can accurately measure heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels without touching the patient during surgery. About 315 adults having gallbladder, liver, or hernia surgery will participate. The goal is to see if this non-contact method works as well as standard monitors, which could reduce infection risks for vulnerable patients.
