NCT ID NCT07160894

First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 34 times

Summary

This study looks at two proteins, NOD1 and NOD2, in saliva and blood to see how they relate to gum disease. Researchers will compare 75 healthy people, those with gingivitis, and those with periodontitis. The goal is to better understand the body's immune response to gum problems, not to test a new treatment.
