First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study looks at a newer, less invasive heart bypass surgery that avoids touching the main artery (aorta) compared to the standard open-chest method. Researchers want to see if the new technique is just as safe and effective at keeping bypass grafts open. About 260 people needing bypass surgery will take part, and their progress will be followed for up to a year.
