Summary
This study tested whether a supplement called nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) can improve how the body handles blood sugar in people with prediabetes. Researchers gave NMN to 56 adults with prediabetes and measured changes in insulin sensitivity and glucose tolerance. The goal was to see if benefits seen in mice also occur in humans.
