NCT ID NCT07453485

First seen Mar 30, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study tests whether a gentle electrical current applied to the calf muscle can immediately reduce pain and improve movement in people with Achilles tendon injuries (tendinopathy or a past rupture). About 30 adults will try two different stimulation settings during a simple heel-raise exercise. The goal is to see if this technique offers fast, drug-free relief and better function.
