First seen Mar 30, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a gentle electrical current applied to the leg can quickly reduce pain and improve how well you can do a single-leg heel raise. Researchers will test two different electrical stimulation settings in 30 people with Achilles tendon pain or a past tendon rupture. The goal is to find a simple, drug-free way to ease symptoms and improve function right away.
