Summary
This early-phase study tested whether immune cells called natural killer (NK) cells could be safely given to children and young adults with solid tumors that did not respond to standard treatments. Sixteen participants received their own activated NK cells, with or without a protein (rhIL15) to boost the cells. The main goals were to see if the cells could be made in large enough numbers and if the treatment was safe.
