Immune cell therapy trial offers new hope for kids with tough cancer

NCT ID NCT02573896

First seen Mar 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This early-phase trial tests a treatment that uses a child's own natural killer (NK) cells, boosted in the lab, along with standard antibody therapy (dinutuximab) for relapsed or hard-to-treat neuroblastoma. The study aims to find the safest dose of NK cells and see if adding lenalidomide is possible. It involves children up to age 30 with high-risk neuroblastoma that has come back or not responded to prior treatment.
