Immune cells join fight against childhood cancer

NCT ID NCT02573896

First seen Mar 24, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This early-stage trial tests a new approach for children with neuroblastoma that has come back or not responded to treatment. It combines the patient's own expanded natural killer (NK) cells with standard antibody therapy (dinutuximab), and possibly a drug called lenalidomide. The goal is to find the safest dose and see if this combination is feasible. Only 13 children are enrolled, so results are preliminary.
