New immune cell therapy targets debilitating fluid in advanced ovarian cancer
NCT ID NCT07435701
Summary
This early-stage trial is testing a new cell therapy for women with advanced ovarian cancer who have severe fluid buildup in the abdomen (ascites) and have run out of standard treatment options. The treatment involves infusing specially activated immune cells (called NK cells) directly into the abdominal cavity once a week for four weeks. The main goals are to see if this approach is safe and if it can help control the fluid buildup and slow the cancer.
