First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tests a drug called Niyad as a blood thinner for people undergoing continuous kidney dialysis who cannot use the standard drug heparin because of bleeding risk. About 70 adults will be randomly assigned to receive Niyad or a placebo during dialysis. The goal is to see if Niyad safely keeps the dialysis filter from clotting without causing dangerous bleeding.
